Jiyo Parsi programme gains momentum

Prominent members of the Parsi community had a very meaningful and purposeful interactive session with the erudite Dr. Arvind Mayaram, I.A.S., Secretary in the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India on November 20, 2014 in the Board Room of the Bombay Parsi Punchayet.

Amongst those who participated in the deliberations were eminent industrialist Nadir Godrej; Vada Dasturjis Dr. Peshotan Mirza and Khurshed Dastoor; Panthky Saheb Ervad Asphandiar Dadachanji; Bombay Parsi Punchayet Chairman Dinshaw R. Mehta, Trustees Khojeste P. Mistree, Arnavaz J. Mistry, Armaity R. Tirandaz, Former Chairman Minoo R. Shroff, P.R.O. Godrej N. Dotivala, Senior Executive  Cawas S. Panthaki; Solicitors Dadi B. Engineer, Burjor H. Antia and Katy Mehta; Ex-Chairman of T.I.S.S. Dr. Armaity Desai; ParZor Director Dr. Shernaz Cama and her dedicated team; Cultural icon Pheroza Godrej; Obstetrician Dr. Anahita Pundole who is conducting B.P.P.’s Fertility Clinic; Social Activists Anahita Y. Desai, Adi Engineer and Farrokh Rustomji; Commodore Aspi Marker and IT Specialist Yazdi Tantra.

The media was represented by Editors Shernaaz Engineer of Jam-e-Jamshed, Jehangir Patel of Parsiana. Freyan Bhathena of Parsi Times and Maneck Davar, Managing Director of Spenta Multimedia.

At the outset, on behalf of the ParZor Foundation, Mrs. Pearl Mistry made a very interesting power-point presentation on the Jiyo Parsi programme.
